0. Interlude - Black Orchid

“I've often wondered if the world will ever be the same again, but the earth will always rotate, and it has always rotated. Accordingly, there is always infinite hope, or hope is infinite.” What really makes us rich is not the methodology behind it, but our mindset. If you lose everything but keep your head, you find a way to get it back. And that will be what they refer to as the pursuit of happiness.

The black orchid is rare and represents youth and vitality. They always say wisdom comes with age, but often we act against our better judgment. We should actually know better, because it goes without saying that morality and happiness - the pursuit of happiness are not the same. We seek fulfillment in moments that fill our hearts with joy. 

The black orchid is rare and represents youth. - So what do we do with her? Flowers don't compare, they just bloom. So the story “Black Orchid - Athena, Asuna & Tony” is told from three perspectives (orchids). Athena, Tony Montana and Asuna Yuuki.

Which moral concepts shape you? Are you looking for happiness? 

Morality is our highest good and we are „bad“ if we act differently, although we know better.

Chapter I. - Athéna

Athena is the goddess of wisdom and courage, the patroness of artisans who fights only to defend her homeland.
I know what my heart's on, I'll take the pain when I know it's worth it. You don't always have to be happy, but you can't close yourself off. Fear of loss, fear of what could be lurking out there inhibits you, your desire for harmony prevents you from daring - but you know it so much better, Athena.

I love this life it's a gift.

Chapter. II Asuna Yuuki

I understand the spirit of morality, experience as much as you can and am not afraid to express it. That must be true freedom, not freedom in the world but freedom in the heart. Because I know how difficult it is for you to trust, - it means a lot to me that you were here and wrote me this letter. I feel happy knowing that I can cry and will cry

I never understood what they meant when they said they go the easy way. I know the darkness, I know the loneliness and I had come to appreciate it as a kind of comfort zone whose end is predetermined.

But you taught me better, it's okay to be sad and it's important to be happy. But it is even more important to share the light, the love, the joy and to bring warmth into the world. There is hope and there always was, - the solutions are usually the simple ones. The pursuit of happiness is light.

Chapter III. Tony Montana

Tony Montana: [at guests in restaurant]

„What you lookin' at?...You all a bunch of fuckin' assholes!

You know why? You don't have the guts to be what you wanna be. You need people like me. You need people like me so you can point your fuckin' fingers and say, "That's the bad guy." So...what that make you? Good? You're not good..You just know how to hide, how to lie.. Me, I don't have that problem. Me, I always tell the truth. Even when I lie... So say good night to the bad guy! Come on. The last time you gonna see a bad guy like this again, let me tell you. Come on. Make way for the bad guy. There's a bad guy comin' through! Better get outta his way!“

The world is yours. There’s a Tony in all of us. Strong passion and a will achieve your goals is great because it gives you willpower to take action. You won’t be sitting on the couch anxiously waiting for permission. On the other hand, that passion can overtake our lives and we forget that it is just one aspect of our lives. Just like flowers don’t compare and just bloom, there‘s no need to point fingers and push your belief onto others.

Whoever called it "The Pursuit of Happiness" got it. Life is good, life is beautiful and I am happy. Happiness is fleeting, it's like a rose that needs constant watering. And I strive for it, I'll make it happen. No blade is sharp enough to cut our bond of fate. The world is yours.
